GET IN TOUCH

I’m always here to help.

Is the wedding legal?

No. The marriage should be solemnised by a member of the Municipality Marriage team, usually the Mayor.

Are you qualified?

Yes, I have completed and passed the examination for the Level 3 Diploma in Celebrancy, Naming and Couples. This is qualification is a Nationally recognised qualification, approved by Ofqual for inclusion on its Register of Regulated Courses.

During what hours can we contact you?

I don’t impost strict working hours as I am aware of the time difference, a question may pop into your head at any time! If I am unable to answer your call or email immediately, I will get back to you as soon as I am free. It is worth mentioning that if you are in the UK, Cyprus is two hours ahead.

How can we book a ceremony?

Just three simple steps!

After our initial chat, if you would like to book the ceremony, there are three simple steps to follow.

  1. Check the date and time are available.
  2. Complete the booking form and return via e-mail.
  3. A non-refundable date reservation fee of €50 is payable via BACS to confirm the booking.

The balance, if any, is to be paid at least four weeks prior to the Ceremony. If there are less than four weeks to the ceremony, a non-refundable date reservation fee of €100 is payable, and the balance within seven days.

NB. The date is not officially booked or reserved until the booking form is completed and deposit paid.

What are your fees?

Each couple is unique and each ceremony is unique – and as such, so are the fees. On having a basic understanding of your needs, for example, date, time, and location, I am happy to offer you a no-obligation quotation.

What do we get for our money?

An initial consultation during which I will listen to your ideas, beliefs and wishes for the ceremony. Unlimited telephone calls, Skype and e-mail support – face to face meetings where possible.

Advice and suggestions regarding readings, poems and music. There are other elements you may wish to include in addition to the exchange of rings such as Roses, sand, candle-lighting, loving cup or handfasting. You may also wish to include elements of various religious, spiritual or family traditions. We will work together to ensure your ceremony is everything you want it to be.

I will liaise with you throughout the building of the ceremony, sending draft scripts and working with your ideas and suggestions – you will always have control of every aspect of your ceremony.

As much or as little assistance as you would like when considering your vows and words – I can write them for you, or help you to fine-tune your ideas.

An individually written, bespoke ceremony created just for you.

A commemorative wedding Certificate and a presentation copy of your ceremony script.

Can anyone else speak?

Absolutely! If you wish, it is lovely to have contributions from family or friends! These will of course be included in the draft scripts for your approval.

Do you perform same sex marriage ceremonies?

Yes of course. The Civil Union Law of 2015 (184(1)/2015 introduces the institution of the Civil Union in the legal system of Cyprus. The legal ceremony must be conducted by the District Officer at a prescribed venue and ‘must not take any excessively celebratory character’. For same-sex couples wishing to celebrate their love and commitment to each other in a romantic and beautiful setting, we can create a very personal, meaningful and memorable ceremony – the only limit being your imagination!

Are there any restrictions regarding religion or spirituality?

No. We will work together to ensure that your beliefs, your wishes, indeed your own spirituality is celebrated and reflected. There may be no elements of religion or you may wish to combine elements from two separate faiths…this is your day.

When can we hold our ceremony?

At whatever time of the day or night you wish!

Where can we hold our ceremony?

There are so many beautiful locations in Cyprus – on the beach, in a garden, a hotel, restaurant, on a boat, a mountain – the only limit is your imagination and your agility!

Can we write our own vows?

Certainly. You can say as much or as little as you wish. If you are nervous, you can just nod your head!

However, if you need help, that is what I am here for!
Most guests will not even realise that this is not the actual ‘marriage’ ceremony.
